The film Assassin’s Creed will arrive on December 21, 2016
Aim well this date on your calendar: December 21, 2016. Has been told The Hollywood Reporter, the film adaptation of Assassin’s Creed will come that day to screens worldwide. Curious? What about a week after the premiere of the spin-off of Star Wars.
This information provided by The Hollywood Reporter contrasts with that offered months ago by Film Divider, which dates back to the tape to the August 7 this year in the US (one now unthinkable date since neither has started filming).
The film Assassin’s Creed is currently in pre-production and already has a solid team behind him -after many changes sufridos-. Michael Fassbender will star in the film, besides the producer. Meanwhile, Justin Kurtzel will be responsible for the direction, while Bill Collage, Adam Cooper and Michael Leslie are in charge of the script.
Also, as we reported two months ago, and various script details are known, so beware of spoilers:
Fassbender will play two roles. As in the game we drove Ezio and Desmond, here Fassbender take the role both of his ancestor as the character of this Michael Lynch, a condemned prisoner, will be the protagonist of this, while its ancestor be a murderer called Aguilar de Agarrobo. This acted during the Spain of the Inquisition, so the adventure will be located in the fifteenth century, with Tomas de Torquemada as the villain of it.
Similarly, there will be other important characters in the script, as Joseph , responsible for research on genetic memory (the role of Lucy in the game) technician; Lara, the female lead in both the present and the past; and Alan Rikkan, president of the company Abstergo appear only as a voiceover.
